SOFTWARE UPGRADE for Cellphone Detector Plus

Contents: Setup.exe. This contains Cellphone Detector Utilities v2.05 which itself contains Firmware v2.04.

Purpose: eliminates recently discovered problem in detector to PC communications.  Under certain conditions the PC would not recognise the detector. This problem would be either temporary or permanent in which case the detector would require reprogramming at the factory. 

Priority: high. All users intending to adjust the settings on their detectors are recommended to upgrade the firmware to v2.04 before they attempt to alter any settings.  

Relevancy: this applies to all Cellphone Detector Plus with serial numbers 2719 and above (manufactured since Feb 2009).

Instructions: download and install Setup.exe. It should make no difference whether previous installed version is deleted first. Open this newly installed Cellphone Detector Utilities v2.05 and connect Cellphone Detector Plus to PC. You will be asked if you want to upgrade your detectors firmware to 2.04. Click the ‘Update Detector’ button. Keep detector connection undisturbed during the brief upgrade process.  With regards appearance and functionality of the Utilities Software, there are no overt changes with the previous version.
